The cottage stands in 2 acres and is ideal for TWO people, or comfortable for small families (the smaller the children and pets the more room!) and contains one double and two single beds. Please be advised that there is a step into the cottage, as well as low ceiling heights. From the cottage entrance guests look out across a large (fishable) pond towards the hills of Dovedale.
The
accommodation is arranged on two floors.
The ground floor is open plan, divided into kitchen, dining, living and sleeping
areas, and an enclosed bathroom, containing shower, basin and toilet.

The
first floor, which connects to the ground floor by an open staircase, provides
2 single beds, and if requested an
additional single mattress.
The
cottage is centrally heated by Calor gas, available for a short time
morning and evening, and included in the price.
Electric heaters are provided for additional heat; electricity is metered.
The
following appliances are provided: cooker, washing machine, microwave,
fridge, electric heater, TV, radio, iron etc.
You are welcome to bring your own video or DVD player. The use of a freezer
is available on request.

Immediately outside the cottage is an area set aside for guests to relax, dine, and BBQ. The remainder of the grounds, including the tennis court, are available for shared use (ours and B&B guests). The cottage is surrounded on three sides by pasture land, accessible from our garden. Please see the activities page for all of the many attractions that the area has to offer.
Many of our self catering guests bring pets; contrary to local practice, we have no extra charge for this. We enjoy the company of well-behaved pets, as well as well-behaved guests.
B and B accommodation is also available.
